About Fast Pitch

SVP Fast Pitch highlights and propels social innovation in the Greater Puget Sound region and beyond. Innovators tackling local and societal challenges are paired with business and community leaders who help them powerfully communicate their story and accelerate impact.

This comprehensive program accepts an annual cohort of 20 locally based organizations working to drive social change across a variety of service areas. Innovators chosen will participate across three tracks: established nonprofit, startup nonprofit, and for-profit social enterprise.

Throughout the four-month long program, innovators hone their ideas and improve pitches through structured learning sessions, practice clinics and 1:1 mentorship. In the past 8 years, SVP Fast Pitch provided 19,000+ hours of coaching and $1M+ in grants and pro-bono services to 350+ social impact organizations tackling poverty, homelessness, inequity in education, prisoner recidivism, climate change, and other pressing issues in our community.

Fast Pitch innovators are welcomed into a group structured model where innovators and coaches meet as a collective cohort throughout the program year for pitch practice, community building and educational sessions. Each participant is paired with two coaches where teams will meet one-on-one for personal instruction, feedback and practice.

Past participants have described the program as invaluable – resulting in greater confidence and effectiveness when presenting, increased exposure for their organization, and valuable new connections with supporters, donors and volunteers. Go check out this year's Innovators!
